Kris Jolley & MSU Surplus Store
Kris Jolley, Program Manager at MSU Surplus Store, offered a powerful example of how institutional surplus can become a regional resource for reuse.
Kris emphasized the importance of inter-organizational reuse, highlighting MSU’s surplus sales of furniture, and he highlights Spartum Stadium’s recent tower renovation project. Kris also shared opportunities for implementing a zero waste hierarchy for redistributing excess furniture to nonprofits, startups, and other campus departments.
