Rheaply Announced as Member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation

November 28, 2020

CHICAGO, IL, USA & ISLE OF WIGHT, UK, Nov. 27, 2020 – Rheaply is excited to announce it has joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation as a network member, joining more than 200 global businesses, emerging innovators and regions/governments all collaborating to accelerate the transition to a circular economy, an economic framework based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.

Rheaply & Ellen MacArthur Foundation

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation works with the world’s leading and most influential organizations to mobilize systems solutions at scale, globally.  Engaging with policymakers, institutions, business and academia, the Foundation aims to inspire and mobilize the circular economy through insights and analysis, learning activities, and collaborative business opportunities.

Rheaply’s Asset Exchange Manager (AxM) will be assessed using the Foundation’s circular economy performance measurement tool, Circulytics. Circulytics enables companies to measure their circular economy performance and identify opportunities to adopt, or further embed, circular practices, thereby driving the transition to a circular economy.

“We are delighted to welcome Rheaply to the Foundation. As a new member of the world’s leading circular economy network, Rheaply joins businesses, governments, educators, innovators, and investors who are leading the global transition to a circular economy. Rheaply’s online asset management and exchange platform is well placed to connect organisations to one another, so those organisations can easily manage, find, swap, or rent physical assets — ensuring they are kept in use. We look forward to supporting Rheaply as it scales its circular economy ambitions.”

James George, Network Development Lead at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation

“As a new network member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, we are proud to be joining a group of innovative scientists, economists and designers hell bent on shifting our unsustainable economy toward a more equitable, regenerative future.

Even with The Ellen MacArthur Foundation as a circular economy vanguard for a decade, our collective work has just begun. Rheaply looks forward to not only helping codify research but empower action for organizations looking to capitalize on the full potential of their fixed assets and material resources.”

Garr Punnett, Chief of Staff at Rheaply

Rheaply is pleased to join other notable Foundation members such as Cisco, Dupont, McDonalds, Microsoft, SAP, and Target.
