Rheaply’s free-to-join, virtual reuse marketplace, which launched in the NYC Tri-state area this past year, is mentioned in the New York City Economic Development Corporation  (NYCEDC)’s Circular Design & Construction Guidelines, an Operational Guide to Reduce Embodied Carbon in NYC’s Built Environment.

Rheaply connects supply and demand partners for reclaimed and surplus materials in the built environment. A simple act of reuse via on Rheaply platform allows businesses to reduce the likelihood of unnecessary purchases, avoiding the attributed embodied carbon of a new item.
