Michigan Materials Marketplace Roundtable — Opportunities in Wood Reuse and Recycling

Join us for a virtual roundtable hosted by Rheaply and NextCycle Michigan, in collaboration with EGLE, to support the Michigan Materials Marketplace and accelerate circular pathways for reclaimed wood and wood waste. As remodels, decommissions, and infrastructure projects proceed across the state, significant volumes of usable lumber, panels, and trim are removed from buildings. This session will focus on practical strategies to keep that wood in circulation—through deconstruction, reuse, remanufacturing, and responsible recycling—while strengthening local demand for products designed from reclaimed stock.

We’ll take a deeper look at end-to-end wood flows. The discussion will highlight the policy and infrastructure gaps that can push wood toward landfill.

Expect quick lightning talks, breakout discussions, and matchmaking aimed at brokering new Marketplace connections, aligning on quality, and identifying pilots that can scale reclaimed wood markets across Michigan. Register to join us on December 3, 2025, 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. ET.
