Michigan Materials Marketplace Roundtable: Full circularity in home energy efficiency improvements

Join us for a roundtable hosted by EGLE, NextCycle Michigan, and Rheaply to support the Michigan Materials Marketplace and the large influx of materials needing proper management as a result of EGLE’s Home Energy Rebates Program.

We will take a deeper look at the various material waste streams from when energy efficiency upgrades are made to homes. From windows, appliances, cardboard, foam packaging, scrap metal, drywall and other material streams, this discussion will focus on the current ways these material streams are managed and the continued opportunities to improve collection and recovery.

Hear from the variety of perspectives including the contractors that may install/remove materials during upgrades, scrappers, pallet recyclers, construction material reusers, refrigerant recyclers, and other key players in ensuring these types of materials are recovered.
