Celebrate Earth Month and World Environment Day on the Chicagoland Reuse Marketplace

Rheaply and Nicor Gas, the proud sponsor of the Chicagoland Reuse Marketplace, invite DuPage-area organizations and working professionals across the West Suburban region to join our virtual Community Reuse Event, running now through June 5, 2025 (World Environment Day).

The Chicagoland Reuse Marketplace is a free-to-join platform strictly for working professionals to sell, donate, or acquire surplus furniture, fixtures, and equipment and other workplace asserts—keeping valuable materials out of landfills and in use. It’s a great way to keep items in use for longer, helping avoid unnecessary procurement costs while doing right by the environment. Whether you’re moving offices, refreshing workspaces, or simply clearing out storage space, now is the perfect time to get involved.

Here’s how to participate:

• Go to https://rheaply.com/cities/il/chicago/ (alternatively, if you already have an account, sign in here)
• Once you log in, make an offer on any available item in the Chicagoland area. 
• Create a new listing using the tag “World Environment Day” or “WED” to contribute reusable items to the community. Using tags on Rheaply is easy (see below screenshot)
