Local communities, policy makers, and businesses large and small – especially in big cities – all stand to benefit from deploying circular economy strategies to reduce emissions, reimagine growth, and build community resilience and local economies. The event will include a panel moderated by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, breakout roundtable discussions with speakers from Circular City Week, Columbia Business School, local community organizations, and more, with a keynote address by Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine. Participants will connect with leaders from science, business, policy, and community organizations to discuss how big cities can leverage the power of circularity in their climate planning, starting today.
